Shalom is an Associate Trainer who leads the Market Readiness Unit, responsible for designing and delivering training packages and financial literacy programs for SMEs and Smallholder farmers. Shalom Holds a BA in Geography and Planning from the University of Sheffield (UK) and an M&E diploma from the University of Zimbabwe. She is accredited by the ILO as a SIYB and Financial Education for Workers Trainer, a certified e-facilitator and Mandela Washington Fellow. Her particular expertise is in Financial Literacy and Management for Entrepreneurs & SMEs, training via online courses and programs. She hosts the “Money Mondays” on StarFM and Mabasa Edu on Radio Zimbabwe programs, contributes articles to The Sunday Mail newspaper, Bulawayo24 online news, and ILO Social Finance page. Shalom is a published author of ‘The Personal Finance Game Plan: a step-by-step guide to effective financial management’, aimed at guiding young individuals in their financial journeys. Shalom is based in Harare Zimbabwe but has conducted training for global audiences online and face to face in Zambia and Tanzania.
