Fredrick Ndiwalana
Fredrick Ndiwalana is a financial inclusion expert currently responsible for leading the MSA research unit in East Africa. He is an accomplished specialist with over 18 years experience in retail banking, consulting, new product development, digital financial services, and financial inclusion. For the past eight years, he has been intensely involved in projects that enhance refugee livelihoods and their financial inclusion. Notably, he has supported project management and provided technical assistance to the Financial Sector Deepening Uganda (FSDU) and partners, aiding the development, piloting, and scaling of financial products for refugees. He has also mentored refugee business owners, designed financial literacy programs, and conducted extensive research on refugee livelihoods.
Fredrick’s achievements extend to consulting for renowned organizations including ITC ILO, Mastercard Foundation, and UNCDF. He is also a Uganda Cash Working Group member, a Fellow in the Uganda Institute of Bankers, and a Certified Expert in Microfinance. Frederick is based in Kampala Uganda.
