Bongiwe is a Zimbabwe based management consultant providing support to MSA projects and products. She holds a BA qualification from the University of Botswana and Swaziland and an MPA from the University of Southern California. Her expertise includes Gender and Development programming in the Civil Society sector and Fund Management in the same. Her strengths are in project management, assessment of administrative systems and financial assessment of programming and partner relations. Bongiwe has over 25 years’ experience with a range of donors and state institutions including: CIDA, AusAID, Medical Research Council of Zimbabwe and the Ministry of Health in Zimbabwe.

Through her professional experience, she has built a solid foundation in partnership development, fund management and the management of contractual grant agreements. Her work in Southern Africa also includes institutional assessments, the design of appropriate capacity building programs, (including governance and accountability systems), and mentoring and financial support to Civil Society organizations and Community Based Organisations.
